Class Location
In-person workshops are held at my home studio in South Austin. After you register, you will receive an email with the address and parking info.
When you register for the live online version of the workshop you will be sent a zoom link to join the live online workshop.
After the workshop is complete all participants (in-person and online) will be emailed a link to access the workshop recording for 12 months.
What to Bring
Please bring a silk veil. If you do not have a silk veil, a chiffon veil will work well too! If you are attending in-person and you don't own a veil, April has plenty you can borrow. Just reply to the registration confirmation email letting April know you will need to borrow a veil.
(Sometimes it's also nice to have a water bottle).
There are no street shoes worn in the dance studio so you'll need to be barefoot, in socks, or dance shoes.
Wear whatever you like but in bellydance class we usually wear stretchy, fitted, comfortable clothing and you can even wear a quiet hip scarf if you want!
Arrival & Parking
We start class promptly at 2pm so make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled.
Parking: free street parking.

The live in-person and live online workshop both occur at this time.
Class Difficulty Level
This is a beginner-friendly choreography. No prior veil or bellydance experience is needed.
Intermediate-advanced dancers are welcome to attend and will learn new veil tricks and refinement.
Supplemental Recordings
When you enroll in this live online or in-person workshop you will receive 12 months access to a recorded video version of the workshop. The link to access the workshop recording will be sent after the workshop.
If you cannot attend the live workshop time you can still enroll and receive access to the workshop recording.
ABSENCE & CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that unexpected things come up and you may have to miss a class.
There are no refunds for missed classes.
Enrollment secures your spot in a class session that has set meeting dates, and limited capacity.
There are no make-ups or roll-overs.
Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
By making this purchase you understand that there are absolutely no refunds for any reason.
